FEES
My hourly fee is $225 for individuals and couples. If you have any financial concerns, please discuss those with me, as I may be able to offer a sliding scale fee. You will be expected to pay for each session at the time it is held, unless we agree otherwise.
INSURANCE
Please note that I'm an in-network provider with Aetna, and an out-of-network provider for other insurance companies.
If you have an insurance plan with out-of-network benefits, you could see me using those. Many insurance companies cover out-of-network mental health services, so call your insurance company to find out your specific benefits. You can also use a Flexible Spending Account, offered by many employers, to cover any amount that was not covered by your health plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
- How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network therapy session?
- Do I need pre-authorization before beginning therapy?
I will provide a monthly statement for you, which you can submit to your insurance company. It is your responsibility to pay the fee, regardless of your benefits. Be aware that insurance companies require a diagnosis which will then become a part of your medical record.
